Mall Heist
I personally was contacted by the dev Evlnu GameWorks, to stream Mall Heist.
This is my honest opinion on this game so do not think just because a dev. reached out I am just going to automatically say the game is good. If the game is good then it is good if it is bad then it is bad and I will let you know my feels of it.
This game is going to be released on steam Mid 2024 not sure yet since the dev. is not completely sure yet since he is still working on it so we are getting a dev cut of it due to he just uploaded new code stripe to the back end and was tweaking and fixing things.
You are basically being stealthy and heisting around the mall trying to loot and escape from cops and guards by using pretty much any and everything in the mall and stores to knock them out to get away. This puts a nice touch on the game because basically not to many games allow you to pick up items other than the heist and mission items and not to many games will allow you to pretty much use the environment as an advantage to help you.
This game is a top down game and in our opinion it kind of needs a little bit of work due to there is a little delay in key presses and it makes it a little difficult with just right timing. In the middle of the chases there are places around the map that you can hide in to help you not get caught which is nice.
This game as of now is an alright game but it does need a little bit more work with the keys and stuff. I mean controller could be different with it it could just be keyboard with the delay.
Also picking up weapons and keycard disables the weapon on level 2 until you pick up the fries and throw them at the security but other than that its an alright game so far as I said its the demo, the release game will be way better than it is now.
You can also bribe the cops with money just to survive on level 2 and 3 which is a nice touch. This game we thought was going to be a prison architect type game but it was the complete opposite the style and play is completely different and I like how it is.
The dev says if you are playing on controller or keyboard is auto detects so you can use either or. It is also going to be 2 player co-op online and local which is nice. This would be a great party game when it comes out.
