Streamlabs issues (chat refreshing bug and black screen, Mix fix, filters and how to use stream labs)
I use streamlabs obs and lately, I have found a few issues before the new update that they have pushed out. One of the issues that I have found was that my games would not show. It would be black and you cannot see it. Then the chat decided to crash and you could not use it because it would only say refreshing and loading and it never change no matter if you end stream, log out log back in, restart the software it was like it froze.
One way I fixed the black screens was to use screen capture. I right clicked on the screen capture source and selected what I wanted to show since the game capture one would work sometimes and sometimes didn’t. I also found out that xbox games, do not stream well so you would have to either use display capture and or screen capture.
I do not know why it is just weird like that. A way I fixed the chat issues on the stream labs software was uninstall it and reinstall it and ever since then I never had an issue with chat again. Everything is working the way it should.
