Peacock has no sound

Have you ever ran into the issue that the Peacock app has no sound? I just ran into this tonight and I find it kind of weird. My Tv you can hear click through and make noise when selecting but jumping on to shows and movies it would not even make a sound.

We sat through two ads with no sound thinking the show would have sound but it did not. One thing we did was we exited the app and went through and made sure the app was up to date. We then went to make sure the TV was up to date because we always get updates for it and sometimes we never know until it starts acting funny and freezing or just closing apps on its on.

The Tv was up to date and the app was up to date so that was not the cause. We officially figured out that the cause was the Tv needed a restart in which it fixed it.

The TV we are using is a Hisense 40 inch and honestly, we don’t have any issues with it. This was our switch after our TLC went out to the point it was X-ray vision one day, then a bright light the next and then a black screen.
