Limiting Sounds From PC to Stream or Recording
Are you like me and tired of the silence but don’t want to play music in your streams or while recording? Don’t worry we have you covered. I have been looking for something that will allow me to listen to my music and not go into the stream and we finally found it!
The plug in we are using for OBS is called Win Capture Audio. This plug in works way better than voice meter. It is not simple to put in at times but it works.
To put it in OBS, you have to go through your audio settings and disable both desktop audios. You then have to make a new source for application audio output capture. This will not work in Studio mode on OBS, we have spent an hour trying to figure out why the audio mixer would not show the meter for the audio capture just for this to be the reason.
Also you are going to have to hit properties on application audio output capture and add your games to the executable list so it can work.
This will now allow Xbox party through but we believe it will let discord party in just a heads up.
