If you are trying to become a VTuber, this is perfect to use and easy! All you do is use OBS or streamlabs although it said to use the game capture and the video capture, you are going to go into the settings and click dedicated capture window and make it enabled and then you are going to use a screen window capture.
You are basically going to follow the steps like doing the video one but you are going to get a stand alone one also and basically chomra key the colors. It is simple. If you are using OBS, you do not need the virtual web cam plug in like you would on streamlabs.
This basically tells it to stream to streamlabs so that way it can catch your motions and movements. With OBS since it is mainly for OBS you do not have to do so. I personally love it and love how you can basically create your own avatar for it or customize on that is already made. You can add whatever you want to it also.
Animaze is free to use. You can always buy the licensing on steam if you wanted to. You can also get it through stream or download it from the site.
I prefer the steam one because once it doesn’t show you the gold coins that you have and it doesn’t show the upgrade button. If you buy the licensing from steam, you can use the year below it. It is basically the same and nothing new and you don’t really have to worry about it. It also removes the watermark is one reason I bought it.
You can also make the animaze character copy you and your movements. It will use your webcam to track and it is easy to calibrate with no hassle.
I would like to also state you do not need a green screen for this, you can go into one of the options and put whatever background you want for it. You can also use a green screen option on the app and then use the chorma key to make it transparent. It can be frustrating to use and set up but once you do it the first couple times and figure it out it is worth it.
You can also add voice mods to your character which will change your voice. I would also like to say, if your webcam has a mic you will have to go into the animaze software and change your settings.
If you feel it is pulling way to much to render on cpu and gpu, try the window capture mode instead of the video one also, lower your settings for animaze, it tends to help and I also believe there is bitrate you can lower for it also. Animaze how to fix it
Check it out, I will include the steam link for it along with the website link.
