American Truck Simulator
Are you looking for a truck driving game that basically allows you to pick up contracts and freight, customize and operate your own truck? This game is for you.
You are basically going all over the 50 states picking up contracts, freights and making deliveries. You can play with friends or random player or you can even play alone.
You don’t need the steering wheel and pedals for this game only unless you want to. You can play this game with keyboard WASD or the arrow keys which is nice.
The keys for headlights is L. You hit it once it turns flashers on, twice for beams. You hit P for windshield wipers, R for radio, WASD or arrow keys for driving, Down arrow for slow down but if you hit it again you will go in reverse. Spacebar is parking brake. You can use the number keys to get it in 3rd person mode and change the angles of view on the truck which is nice.
If you happen to wreck your truck to many times, you will get a system malfunction and often times, it will no long go so you will have to call a tow and get it repaired. You get it repaired by hitting esc and going to repair or trying to make it to a repair shop. You can also stop at a gas station and get gas.
If you park the trailer yourself, you get extra xp but if you are in a hurry you don’t get extra xp. Xp allows you to level up and get better things.
The hours in game is not actual hours, it is in game hours. You can also get loans from the bank to buy your first truck or run so many missions until you make enough which is nice.
My PC arura lights basically sync up with the game and every time I get a violation or wreck, they will blink red and blue to sinuate the police are after me and I done something. The mini map will also tell you what the charges are and how much you have been fined. This game is fun and in my opinion worth it.
Steam has a few free dlcs but you can get the game and dlcs cheap using the links below and once you get the game, you can go to steam to get the free dlcs.
