The Outlast Trials
Let me just say The Outlast Trials game is so much fun! In this game you are going around collecting propaganda posters, and other informational folders that pretty much had information in them about the trials.
You are going in each trial completing quests as fast as you can and some of them are speed runs meaning you have to so much time to complete it and then if the time runs out then it determines how hard it is going to be. Each one can be hard and a challenge to complete. It is a horror survival type game and you will never know what to expect when you get in them.
Some of the trials have more than one enemy to escape in which sometimes makes it harder because you never know which way to turn they will just appear out of nowhere. This game allows you to play with others and is cross play so you can team up with friends on other consoles in which I love this.
I personally was hesitant when I got this game because I was just not sure about it but when I started playing it I liked it and it was fun, however I got annoyed with the night vision running out of the goggles a little to quickly and then I also got annoyed with not being able to find antidotes and my way out of the maze but once I got use to the game and learned it it got better and I started liking it. You can also pick up brick and bottles and throw it at the enemies to stop and stun them for a second to get away. This game has a lot of gore in it.
You also get a little room you can decorate and customize and use the director for evidence you collected, and see how you did on your trials. You also use your room to customize yourself using the mirror. In the lobby, you can match make with randoms, arm wrestle them, and play chess with them and don’t worry most will stand around and watch you play. Also they can come visit your room.
There is an engineer that allows you to pick out rigs that can help you out in the trials. There is a Stun that stuns the enemies, there is a blind that uses smoke, there is a heal that heals you and your teammates, there is Xray that allows you to see the enemies there is a barricade that blocks doorways and a jammer that unlocks doors because there are quick time events to unlock them if you lockpick them.
There is also a pharmacist in which she gives you prescriptions that allow you to help you move better through the maps and survive. Be warned the green tickets you get are used for the pharmacist and the engineer so be mindful when you are spending them. The prescriptions are auto added when you match make but you are going to have to make sure that you have the right rig you want if you unlock more than one because you have to manually put those in. You can check this by hitting the terminal and hitting load out. Once you start leveling up, you began getting more stuff to help you in which I love that.
