If you are looking for a challenging game to where you do nothing but fight all kinds of monsters and complete quest.
This is the game for you. Monster hunter World is a tough game and it will end up taking you everything you have in you to fight just one of the monsters.
They are really this hard. You will also have to use the monster broken parts just like how you do in Dauntless to build your armor and weapons.
You will also have to level up your gear and level up your companions gear in which he will fight also. They’re are all kinds of weapons in this game from swords, bows, dual blades, a gun and lances.
You will have to track monsters by foot prints and skeleton bones. There are materials you can go around collecting to help you with your crafting.
You can play with friends but you will end up having to join them after they get past the cut scene and find the monster unless you both are on the same quest and go at the same time.
If they want to join you it is the same. You just go into the inventory or the character set up and hit sos flare and then or anyone can come in to help. I would make it public so it is easier and you get more people.
You can also set up the lobby to public or for friends only and you can adjust it to how many people you need.
