Mic Boom Arms| Mic Stands
Mic Boom Arms often times get in the way making it hard to see your screens. You have to pull it out and then it sometimes makes it hard to see the screens due to its right in front of it. If I have my pop filter box I could not see or if someone wants to see my screen, I have to put it to the side so they can see it but with the over the top mic stand, we have no problems with that.
I ended up unscrewing the bolt turner that allows you to tighten up your mic and let the fall down and then screwed my mic on it. This basically allowed it to be an in the air mic which is something I have been wanting for a while but could not get the money to do so.
I literally just flipped it down while writing this blog post and to me, it is the best thing that I have done because its no longer in the way and I can still get picked up and the pop filter isn’t blocking as much anymore. This just save me $20+ bucks that I did not have.
