Free to play dead games?

 Most of the free to play games have turned into dead games and we think we know why. Part of the reason is on Steam you have to pay a $100 creators fee to even upload any game. 

People do not make any money from the games that they have for free unless people are buying the DLCs, Skins, and other things. Some of the games, do not see as many people as they would think and then they stop working on it because of this reason. 

The money that the creators make normally goes back into the game to help fix it and expand it and sometimes even change the whole game but if they are not making anything then they cannot do that and then it becomes what we call ad dead game or dead on arrival (D.O.A). Dead on arrival games are games that are in early access that basically are months old and basically have no players in it at all or just a few. They also are abandoned by the developers once they see the player base dropping. 

Most of these games will start out strong but because the developers really have nothing to lose from the game they barely do new innovating ideas with the game, so after people get tired of the same old gameplay they will stop playing the game. 

Though some of these developers will have more than one game on the market and will test to see which one is more popular and then let that decide how they continue the updates and development.
