Fortnite is not what it use to be. It only use to be build mode, disco domination and a few other mode but recently there was so much more added. You can now make your own custom modes which is so much fun and allows people to play them all while you earn V-bucks.
There are roleplaying servers and more and more servers being created and added each day. You can sell things to other and pay using V-bucks and in game credits. There are a bunch of new skins for you to try to earn or you can buy them.
There are in game tournaments and the game is not as toxic as most games are. There is a mode call warfare mode and everyone is split into two teams 50 on each side and you get to battle it out.
My favorite mode so far is zero build and prop hunt.
There are quests to help you level and earn XP and cosmetic. You can even earn V-buck from some of them now.
The battle pass is worth it because the v-bucks you spend to buy it you get back leveling up the battle pass and so much more.
You can also sell your fortnite gear to other players to make vbucks but I am not sure how.
