Corsair Keyboard K55 RGB pro
Welp, it is the end of the era for my keyboard. My keyboard decided it wanted something cold to drink and took a whole cup of sweet ice tea.
After hours of tearing it down and trying to fix it and get it to type the actual button that is pressed, we decided to let it dry the rest of the way out and just not mess with it. This keyboard is over 4 years old in which I do not blame it for going out.
The life expectancy for it was only 2 year but somehow I got 2 extra years from it. This keyboard was giving signs that it was going out because sometimes typing on it, it would delay along with playing games on it so I highly understand why it happened.
We let it dry out overnight and it started working again. In which that is kind of a shocker to me because normally when things get wet, they stop working even if you let it dry out.
The keys are still kind of sticky but the keyboard works. Luckily it is only $5.00 USD for replacement key caps.
