Consair // M65WL
Shopping for a wireless mouse? I’ve been testing the Corsair M65WL. Here’s the breakdown: Great build quality and battery, but it lacks a DPI button and adjustable weights. It’s a great mid-range pick if you don’t need pro-level customization.
The Corsair M65WL is a beast for casual gaming. It’s wireless, built like a tank, and the battery lasts forever. It’s a bit on the heavy side since you can’t adjust the weights, but if you want a mouse that just works without a cord, this is it.
I loved this mouse. It was a very good gaming mouse up until recently. Mind you, this mouse is missing an adjustable weight and I had it for about 6 years.
The mouse was perfect for gaming. It has adjustable weights so you can make it the weight you needed for game and then it can also lock down in games so that you can aim better. It also has a sniper button on it that I used maybe once and decided against it because it make it so that you do not miss shots and I enjoy moving around the map.
The mouse kind of became somewhat unresponsive and when you move it it takes a good minute to get to where it is going. The clicker buttons were slowing down and when we opened it to clean it we realized that they were breaking and wearing down.
I also noticed that the battery was not hold as much as a charge as it use to so it was like every few weeks I would have to charge it and if I left it on it drained the battery more than it did when I first got it.
This mouse was one of my first actual gaming mouse and I loved it. It is worth it but I want to branch out and try others so I got a logitech G502 which is almost like it.
For this mouse, the software you are going to use is iCue. iCue however conflicts with logitech G hub so that is probably what happened to the gaming wheel that and a few other settings need to be tweaked.
This mouse is still enjoyable!
