Conqueror’s Blade is so much better than For Honor and it is FREE! You are fighting people and leading your troops into battle. It is not out on console yet but this game is so much fun.
You start as a warlord that is leading his/her army into battle to capture the enemy territory. You will use anything from hot oil to battering rams to take down the enemy walls in order to get control of the fortress and surrounding lands. Though if your on the other side of the walls you will use ballista’s and hot oil to stop the approaching armies from breaching your fortress. You will be able to tell your army to attack, hold ground, or move up in defense formation, each has its on benefits and disadvantages. If they are in hold ground they will hold the point and not let the enemy in and take it over, such as if they are in defense formation they will use shields to defend themselves and move up on the enemy lines to give you are your team move up to take over the enemy.
The game is setup in a control and domination style of game, where you will keep the points under your teams rule and gain points and you can conquer the enemy points and bleed there reserve units. There is also a kill the enemy fortress leader mode wherein you and your team will advance in positions to take down the enemy lines until you get to the leader and are able to take them down. In this mode the leader is AI controlled and will be extremely hard to take down but if you use your army and teammates to help you, they wont be much of a struggle.
