Hellmate is a chess game that is single player. You are playing chess with cards and building up your decks and they can either help you or break you depending on what you choose.
When you win a floor, you get gold and then you get to go to the market to purchase cards, power-ups and attacks to help you during the battle. Be mindful of the card because they can take your mana and you won’t be able to put out a chess piece.
This is a new twist on Chess and let me tell you I enjoyed it. It does get difficult and you will end up having to restart but it is fun.
You have to actually think about where you are going to move to. You can also move all your pieces at once as long as there is a spot available for it and it is moveable. When you first put chess pieces out it they will not be able to be moved until next turn.
