Valheim is like ark but without the dinosaurs and instead of cavemen you are Vikings. You can play this game by yourself or with friends in a server. There can be up to 10 players in a game.
This game is a survival game where you get to craft things to survive the enemies that are roaming all over that you have to go through and try to survive. Some of them are tougher than others so it will take more than once to try to fight them. Just like ark, you build a base and collect things to help you build. This game is also a sandbox game.
You are in purgatory trying to survive and defeat the bosses in order to gain access into Valhalla which is a feast hall and basically the after life. You are trying to get Odin’s patronage and once you get there you have beaten the game.
When I played this when it first came out, I did not like it. It was way to hard to the point you could not do anything without dying. I played it a few more times and the same thing happened so I decided to return it and get something else.
I just now started back playing it on xbox game pass and it has gotten so much better.
