Dinkum is a game that kind of looks like animal crossing. Dinkum is a fun game but it is kind of slow pace since you have to build everything up. You basically move to an island and take it as home. It is an Aussie based theme so there are wild dogs and kangaroos, crocodile and sharks, wild birds and emus like birds.
You can capture butterflies, and flies and a few other things. For termites you basically pick axe them and can sell them all to Jack.
The down side to it is, you basically have to get a license to do everything with on the game but it is simple.
You go around collecting things such as bugs, rocks and other things and you go into your journey and it will give you skill money sorta say when you complete certain things.
If you need to sell the things you have, you can give it to Jack who basically takes the things and sends it to the town you once belonged to but if you do quests, then you can make him stay on the island so he doesn’t go back and forth as often because right now he is just a visitor.
To save the game, you basically have to go to your sleeping bag and sleep to the next day. It will then show you all the things you collected and how much money you got from Jack.
The campfire is a great way to cook food and to basically burn things you need and once it is done it will throw it out to the side.
Also, the ore you find it will take 5 of them in the forge at a time to make one bar.
You can end up farming and hunting on the island which is nice but it is a slow build to get there.
You eventually can craft your own crafting table so you do not always have to use Fletcher but don’t forget you can do quests with her and get materials and other things. There is also a barrel or barrels of things that has crafting things on it.
One more thing I should add, this game map is huge and open world. If you invite friends or people on it, they will not be able to do their quest but they can help you get materials and if you want to save with them, they have to get a sleeping bag from Fletcher tent which is in the corner.
