Let me be honest, I played deadlock by valve back on August 16th 2024. I
was also under an NDA about it so I could not voice my opinions and
feels about it… until now. I do not like this game. This game was okay
to me in the beginning until my bros and I realized that it is not that
good. We are hoping once it comes out of beta and playtest it gets
better than what it is now.
I had high hopes for this game and mind you it disappointed me and my
expectations. I even invited the bros to play it since that was the only
way you can get in is by having someone you know invite you in. This
game was a game we found on reddit. This game was also the game that
valve said they were not making and it was super secretive you could not
talk about it and was under an NDA.
This game to me seems like a rip from paladins, Overwatch, Smite and DOTA.
The controls were clunky and it is just a mess. This game moves like a
MOBA. You have 5 different lanes that you go down that are colored so
you can see where you are going and you have to stop the enemy team from
getting to your tower and kill your guards. This game to me is
unbalanced because most of the characters are stronger than the others
and it makes it harder to do what you need to do.
The only thing I like from this game is the railway transportation because
it drops you to the end of the rails at the enemy spawn. Another thing I
like is that you can select up to three characters just incase someone
takes yours which to me is a great idea to have in games like this. That
is pretty much what I like about it but hopefully when it comes out
fully it is better than this.
