There are so far two maps on with two different creatures on this game. A motel and an jail. You are looking for keys to get into rooms banish the evil that has taken over the jail.
On the jail, you are attacking twig people that looks like hair and collecting gems out of them and throwing them into a fire that is outside of the cafeteria. If you are playing with friends and they get caught you can look on the map and they can tell you what jail they are in or you can look at it and go let them out.
On the motel one, you are collecting hams to feed the hungry grandma demon. You are putting the hams on different podiums that are lit up and they could be any and everywhere.
If both of the entities get close to you on either map you have guns that you can shoot at them to make them less hostile which is nice. On the motel one there are screamer that can end up making you go deaf and it can end up killing you.
When they scream, it will slow you down and you can end up dying by them or getting caught so it is best to shoot them when you see them. There are also giant moths flying around that will sting you and you can shoot them also.
If you are playing with friends, and they get caught, they can look at the map and tell you exactly where they are hanging from so that you can get them down and continue to banish the evil.
This game is literally what the title says. The darkness is chasing you! Can you escape it?
